- DC Metro condo prices rise 3.1% from last year.
- S&P/Case-Shiller reports Washington Metro Area home prices increased 4.3% over August 2011. Nationwide home prices increased 2.0%.
- The Wall Street Journal reports DC area home prices have risen 8.4% since 2009, compared to a nationwide drop of 3.7%.
- Mortgage rates hover near record lows.
